A good budget 4K smart TV for your needs

The TCL S400 Series 4K Roku Smart TV is a good entry-level 4K Smart TV.

I am new to 4K quality and wasn't sure where to start. I was browsing for TVs during last year's Black Friday and came across a 4K smart TV that was on sale. 

I had this installed in the bedroom using an echo-gear wall mount.

As you can see in the image above, there are quick shortcuts to switch to your other devices and access your apps in a simple way.

First I would like to start with the picture quality. The picture is nice and clear and the 55-inch is not too big or small and gives a theater-like experience. The remote is small with useful shortcuts. The sound is so great I have been fooled into believing it was right outside my window or even closer.

It comes with many apps in various categories. Very easy to navigate with voice features. I use the apps in addition to my tv service. 

Switching between your tv service and the Roku home screen is simple. There are also themes that you can select to further customize your dashboard. 

The transfer between this tv and other devices that you use with it is very simple. It has several inputs to install any other devices. This tv continues to surprise me with its many features. There is even an option to watch your favorite shows from the beginning if you miss part of it.

The TCL S400 Series 4K Roku Smart TV is packed with all kinds of features some of which I have not discovered yet. If you are not sure about 4K smart TVs this is a great start.
